Carpe Diem #334, fence (provided by Lolly)
The prompt “fence” is full of possibilities and ai think it made me go a little mad 😀 Here are my efforts for what they are worth:-)
Sitting on the fence-
undecided
or plain cowardly?
Fence me in
with your love-
wolves inching closer.
Broken fence
a reminder
of passing time.
Visitors
outside the fence
prisoners inside
Crazy fans
toppling the fence
mayhem let loose
Stuck to the fence
carcass of
electrocuted cattle
Leaning over the fence
to exchange
love notes,stolen kisses
Crushed under the
fallen fence
tiny sapling,still lives.
I like the broken fence and the visitors the best but I really enjoyed the fence from all vantage points. I am stuck in the dark side of the moon this week (wonder why?)
Lol,thank you :-)I guess it is the season-sets the mood,no-just wrote a Vampire tale-will post it tomorrow on my blog(for another challenge)-it’s kinda late here-1.45a.m-,daughter down with fever again-so will have to call it a night 😛
The words you write Atreyee are very profound and true. I like the images you have created.
Aww,thank you Summer:-)
Wow! Again on a roll Atreyee …nicely written series.
Thanks again Kristjaan-I was loathe to stop-it just kept coming but after a point I told myself-‘Not another word, you silly woman!”,lol!
Let it flow … a waterfall of inspiration … 🙂
Ha!ha!
The last haiku in this collection really settles into soft haiku thought. Beautiful.
:-)I felt it was getting too wicked and gory,so a soft touch(carry over from Garry Gay) would make it look less harsh and to end on a positive/hopeful note is always more appealing,no?Thank you so much LFAL for reading and stopping by but most for understanding -appreciate it:-)
Each one so different – the wolves, and broken fence really stand out.
Thank you my friend:-)I checked out your Haibun pg but honestly could not understand how to tackle such an intellectual challenge-no brains you see 😛 But I have started reading and googling and maybe in a few days time I will try and attempt something-it is intimidating though And I had no idea that u & MG are one & the same person-talk of stupidity, lol!
Don’t worry it took me time to find out we were the same person too….! If you take one of the prompts and think of a past experience that remotely relates to it in a short paragraph, then add a haiku, you’ll have written a fine haibun! But not pushing!
Ha!ha!U r so funny-as always and I like that:-) I will surely like to try -it ends this Friday,no?Or was it Thursday? Will reflect on the pointers you gave-though I cannot promise my poor brain will come up with something but will definitely try:-)
Late late Friday! Don’t try too hard, just enjoy it.
:-)Thk u -will do
So many fences!
Absent Fence Post
