Here are two attempts at completion, from sleepy me-not very satisfactory,am afraid but this is what came to my mind:-)
your cold indifference fails
to outlive my love for you
flaming desire in the heart
set aflame on winter nights

I vote for cold indifference. lol
Lol!Thk u Angie-will be dropping by today to have a look at your posts-have been busy lately and last night I was too tired to read anything more:-)
I agree. That cold indifference is sad. A moving piece. A great finish to the haiku.
Thank you Steph-so glad to see that you are back-missed u
Cold indifference gets me too.
Even candent days
😀 Thank you for the comment JRB-we all get affected by it -warm is always better than cold-unless it is ice-cream of course;-)
cold indifference makes me shiver.
It turns me cold 😛 Thank you for reading Plaridel:-)
The first contribution resonates more for me… They are both very good.
Eliz
Thank you Eliz:-)
I like the first one 🙂
Thank you UABU:-)
I’m a sucker for romance…..#2. 🙂
😀 Thks Wabi-me too 😉
Wonderful melancoly you paint with the cold indifference.. great to contrast the nature with the personal.
Thank you Bjorn-so glad you liked it:-)
both offer something unique to the completion of this haiku – of course, flames of any kind attracts me, 🙂 so second one for me hits me fiercely.
Aha!”Patanga”;-)Thanks a ton Sun 😀
You are making it difficult to choose Atreyee. I love both completions, but I feel more flaming romance with the second … Thank you for sharing and participating.
How sweet of you to say so Kristjaan-thank you so much:-)I feel thrilled to be able to participate whenever I have time-tonight I hope to write some Haiku for CD:-)
