Three in a row

This weekend Trifextra says this-“writers, it’s up to you. We want you to choose a word and use it three times in your 33 words. However, it must be either a verb, noun or adjective and the form of the word cannot change, it must appear exactly the same three times.

Here are my 33 words:-)

Three in a row

She was on the third floor.

She knocked.

She smiled, enjoying the look of surprise on his face.

He was her third and final victim.

  1. Third and final. I love that!! I think women are far more dangerous than men. Especially a woman scorned. There’s a song by Miranda Lambert with a lyric that goes, “Behind every woman scorned, is a man who made her that way.” 🙂

    • Ha!ha!Blame it on my blood thirsty nature-though this time i left it open to my reader’s imagination 😉 Great to see you Diane-how r u my friend?I am trying to juggle my writing, reading, designing and commenting along with my daily real life and social networking and continuing to make a mess of everythg-lol!But still it is fun:-)

      • I’ve been away quite a bit too the last couple of months… as I’ve had some health issues… but had surgery a couple of weeks ago and things are better… so I’ve missed a lot of reading (and writing sparsely) I always enjoy your ‘mysteries’….. Diane

      • Oh,I hope you are felling better now Diane-take care of yourself. As we age, these things keep piling-I always wonder what awaits but no use worrying-hopefully it won’t be debilitating-that’s my only prayer to the Almighty-keep me healthy enough to be independent-sigh!Thank you for your support my dear friend-hope to see you more often and waiting to read your pieces:-)
